ScrapeTec to Showcase Latest Conveyor Belt Alignment Tool at Bauma 2022

ScrapeTec is preparing to showcase the E-PrimeTracker at the upcoming Bauma 2022 event in Munich, Germany, a conveyor belt alignment tool that the company says can reliably protect people, the environment, and conveyor technology.
Wilfried Dünnwald, owner and developer of ScrapeTec, plans to personally demonstrate the functionality at the show.
PrimeTracker offers a special roller that detects belt misalignment and automatically compensates for it. Unlike other solutions, this one is not tapered, but cylindrical, and its nuances provide a quick automatic correction if the tape goes off center.
According to ScrapeTec, the PrimeTracker’s operating mode is set at the center of the shaft, so it can “swing” freely in any direction, sensitively and directly reacting to the slightest misalignment and, by correcting it, allows the conveyor belt to move at its own speed. again, at least running in good condition. PrimeTracker just works like a slacker if everything is in order and the feed is working properly.
Now ScrapeTec offers a further development: E-PrimeTracker 4.0. Its self-adjustment function on the conveyor belt matches the PrimeTracker 1:1, the letter E stands for “the additional electronic value of this device”, which the developers of ScrapeTec have integrated. For this purpose, the drum is also equipped with reliable sensors that register all important parameters such as belt position, belt speed or belt splice condition for monitoring.
In the event of a misalignment that could lead to belt downtime, the operator is immediately alerted and preventive action is taken. And even in the worst case scenarios, such as belt failure and misalignment of an inevitable belt break, the operator is instructed in a timely manner.
These warnings are displayed on the device’s color display, which shows belt activity from green to red. In another frequency band, information from sensors can also be transmitted wirelessly to a monitoring system that displays control data.
