Lidl customer throws broccoli at other customers’ heads because checkout takes too long

Hani Khosravi, 25, from Salford, Greater Manchester, said she had an altercation with another customer at weekly grocery store Lidl.
A Lidl customer was filmed throwing broccoli at another customer’s head during a heated argument at the checkout.
Hani Khosravi, 25, from Salford, Greater Manchester, said she had to argue with another customer in the supermarket’s weekly grocery section.
She pulled out her phone and started recording the scene, fearing for her safety, and ended up recording the moment the vegetables were being used as rockets.
Hani said: “I was waiting to check my food when I saw this woman insulting an innocent man next to her for standing in line.
“She was screaming and eventually he left and I replaced him. She was still screaming so I told her to shut up because no one wants to hear screaming on a Sunday.”
In another incident last year, when the British fought outside a Birmingham supermarket on fire, watermelons were thrown.
Grumpy, a supermarket, has been spotted in shocking footage of grown men violently fighting in front of a fruit and vegetable stand in Saltley, Birmingham.
As firefighters tried to put out the flames that had engulfed the Zeenat store last night, a police officer could be heard telling people to come back as he unsuccessfully tried to stop the brawlers.
The incident comes as Asda and Morrisons began rationing fruits and vegetables after supermarkets across the UK left shelves empty due to supply issues.
Currently, Asda has set a limit on tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, lettuce wraps, broccoli, cauliflower and raspberries per person.
In the UK, farmers are said to be using less heated greenhouses due to higher energy costs. Frost damage has also rendered many vegetable fields unusable.
