Conveyors use pneumatic brushes to collect non-round

Multi-Conveyor has developed a stainless steel tabletop and plastic belt conveyor system with an accumulating table with a pneumatic pusher designed for non-round plastic bottles.

Plastic bottles will be transported from a customer-provided labeling machine on a conveyor belt over 100 feet long, including height changes up to 21 inches in some places, side transfers and pneumatic merging, diverting, clamping and stopping to handle the accumulation of empty and full bottles. finally ends with the packer of the box.
The unique reversible stacking table includes pneumatic stops that form a row of product on the table. When the system is in “accumulation mode”, the pneumatic “sweeper arm” will push one row at a time onto the table.
The bi-di table is designed to index each row of product and then extract it in the same way using a “pneumatic puller” to extract each row. The system provides online and offline storage at two (2) 200 square foot storage stations.
The challenge was to assemble nearly rectangular quart, gallon, 2.5 gallon, and 11 liter bottles into one system. The standard bi-di storage table is used almost exclusively for round products, which makes this system quite unique.
NOTE. The conveyor system is capable of returning accumulated product back to the main line during normal production flow using a designed and manufactured multi-conveyor control system consisting of UL certified equipment, sensors, HMI screens and panels.
