Conveyor Components Solve Bucket Elevator Belt Alignment Problems

Conveyor Components said Conveyor Components’ Model VA and Model VA-X Bucket Elevator belt alignment tools help operators identify potential problems and prevent damage in the bulk material handling department.
Models VA and VA-X have a rugged die-cast aluminum body (with specially designed pockets to prevent buildup), both designed to indicate when the bucket elevator head or guide section is too far out of alignment.
The control unit has a 2-pole, double-break micro switch rated for 20 A at 120 VAC, 240 VAC, or 480 VAC.
The switch actuator and levers are field adjustable with a simple 3/32″ (2.4mm) hex wrench. According to the company, the metal rollers are strong and bi-directional and designed to work in harsh environments.
Type VA microswitches are NEMA 4 weatherproof or NEMA 7/9 explosion-proof (VA-X type). The company concluded that epoxy powder coatings or polyester powder coatings are available as options.
